For both employees and company managers, it is particularly important to have health protection and death or accidental disability protection when travelling overseas.
As a company manager, many collective agreements require you to cover your employees both abroad and in France.
You may be held liable if this is not the case.
The different cases:
- Short missions abroad
This involves people who travel abroad for a few days within a professional context (a trade show, canvassing, customer meetings, etc.)
- Seminars
This concerns seminars, incentive programs and conventions organized abroad for your employees.
- Long-term missions (seconded or not)
People who go abroad for several months within a professional context
- Expatriation
People (employees or freelance workers) who stay abroad for more than a year. Several different types of coverage are possible whether this is additional to CFE or not.
